Artist's Description
Elna Brodie Niccolls is my grandmother. I photoshop watercolored her drawing to be used for the cover of our family history book. Her future book will be called: The Nesbitt Chronicles: the Road to Happiness, as this represented one of the themes in her book. The upcoming chapter book release based on Nesbitt is called The Road to Happiness: Our Nesbitt Neighbourhood Adventures.

Donna L. Munro is the owner of PWL. She is a lover of family heritage and value, having focused her life strengths on studying Literature and Science for her younger life. She has found her roots and family meaning within Scottish and English culture. The start of the collection is focused on releasing family art to print. The first artist Donna has profiled is her great-great-grandfather James Wharton, who was one of the first of the family pioneers to settle in Manitoba just as its communities opened up for settlement. Unfortunately, James Wharton spent most of his time working to get a nicer home for his wife, and did not have time to return to art when he came to the prairies.
