Donna Munro feels like a native Calgarian having lived in Calgary since the age of 6 mos. Donna is a writer and a teacher. She worked with her grandmother on the family history, taking it from a series of individual documents bringing them into one document. Part of Donna's family history documents included family art. Her grandmother and great-great grandfather had interests in art. Donna has first taken effort to prepare their art for print and then has next been preparing her art. When Donna and her grandmother get together, her grandmother would insist they draw, or once she could no longer see, then that they sit and Donna draw. This is Donna's drawing.
In the 2020 move of setting up the simple around some images, this one fits. Everything depends on the mood you are in while setting up images. I have this on my wall, and it is cute. And I have made others. And they are complex.
Donna L. Munro is the owner of PWL. She is a lover of family heritage and value, having focused her life strengths on studying Literature and Science for her younger life. She has found her roots and family meaning within Scottish and English culture. The start of the collection is focused on releasing family art to print. The first artist Donna has profiled is her great-great-grandfather James Wharton, who was one of the first of the family pioneers to settle in Manitoba just as its communities opened up for settlement. Unfortunately, James Wharton spent most of his time working to get a nicer home for his wife, and did not have time to return to art when he came to the prairies.
